For the arrival of the HVW8 Gallery from Los Angeles in Paris, iconic skater and artist Mark Gonzales presented his first solo exhibition in the city, Mark Gonzales in Paris. The objective was to celebrate the return of a skate culture pioneer to a city that shaped his journey through a lively and accessible artistic installation, just weeks before skateboarding made its official debut at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
We managed the full production and hosted the HVW8 Gallery within the new Le 78 Paris space, located in the heart of the Marais. Our team orchestrated the layout, scenography and logistical coordination of the exhibition, transforming the venue into a colorful and vibrant capsule true to Mark Gonzales’ singular universe.
The exhibition showcased a series of never-before-seen works, featuring his iconic characters in a kaleidoscope of shapes and colors. We also supported the event direction for the opening, highlighted by the presence of the artist and the signing of his book published by Rizzoli Books.
